OTT RLS 500
A non-contact radar sensor for surface-water level, installed above the water at reservoirs, canals and hydrological stations.

For a hydraulic structure, both individual readings and their relationships matter: changes in pressure inside the dam, seepage flow, water level and structural displacement. Instruments are selected according to the monitoring design and installation conditions.
Piezometers measure pore pressure, level sensors monitor reservoir water, and weirs measure seepage. Inclinometers, pendulums and crackmeters complement displacement monitoring. A logger combines the measurements with appropriate interfaces and power supply.
